Parliament Gherao 18 August 2011

Responding to the call given by the National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI) to gherao the parliament for getting central law in favour of street vendors, thousands of street vendors of different parts of the country took to streets in Delhi on 18 August and thundered, “Aam Admi’ Ki Sarkar! You’ve Enough Jurisdiction! Show Courage and Enact Central Law to Protect Our Right to Livelihood!”
