Legal Literacy and Litigation Campaign-Regional Workshop Bangalore

NASVI undertakes a Campaign to enable street vendors in legal literacy and litigation skills. In the campaign one of the main objectives is to make practical handbooks for Street Vendors as well as for lawyers engaged in litigation for their cause. The purpose of the handbooks is to support the struggle of Street Vendors by equipping them with the knowledge based information relating to law.

As part of this campaign we organized a regional workshop at Bangalore. We invited the lawyers and Street Vendors having practical experience of litigation for the cause of Street Vendors. The objective of this workshops was to share the experiences of the lawyers and litigants and to get necessary inputs for the practical Handbooks.
We also created a network of lawyers experienced in litigation for the cause of Street Vendors. This will enable us to identify and approach, when needed by any of our member organization across India
