On 8 April 2010, NASVI has successfully flagged off the World Class Cities for All campaign at Moore Market in Chennai .The campaign has been scheduled from 8 April 2010 to 27 April 2010 in 10 municipal corporations Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchy, Tirunelveli, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Tuticorin and Vellore of Tamil Nadu. The main objective of the campaign is to pressurize the Government of Tamil Nadu to implement the National Policy for urban street vendors in Tamil Nadu. NASVI mobilizes and sensitizes the vendors from all parts of the state to collectively struggle for the implementation of the policy through the campaign. The campaign is ending with a mass meeting at Devaneya Pavanar Library Auditorium, LLA Buildings, Mount Road in Chennai on 27 April 2010.
