The Rehrdi Fadi Union of Ludhiana is organizing a mass meeting on 3^rd March 2010. Finally tired of the regular harassment by the municipal corporation the organization has decided to call a mass meeting on drishti ground in Ludhiana. The main objective of the program is to bring awareness about the National Policy for Street Vendors and their right to livelihood. It is expected that more than 5000 vendors from all parts of Punjab will participate in the rally to show their solidarity. The National Association of Street vendors (NASVI) joined the hands with Rehrdi Fadi Union to struggle for the vendors rights in Punjab.
